Be a Seedling is a non-profit organization that provides community-based programming, education, capacity building, Enviromental conservation and advocacy for underprivileged individuals and communities. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who are most in need.

Join us in our mission to create a more just and equitable world. There are many ways to get involved, including volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word about our work. Every little bit helps.

Our Programmes

Be a Seedling: Changing Lives One Child at a Time

  1. Supporting students: Be a Seedling provides financial and material support to students who are struggling to afford school. This includes paying school fees, providing school supplies, and giving them all necessary school materials.

  2. Encouraging academic excellence: Be a Seedling organizes meetings and events to encourage students to perform well in school. They emphasize the importance of education and the need to become competitive in the labor market.

  3. Protecting girls: Be a Seedling works to protect girls from gender-based violence, FGM, early marriage, and rape. They provide menstrual hygiene management education, body change education, and teen pregnancy prevention education. They also provide sanitary pads to girls who need them.

  4. Advocating for education: Be a Seedling advocates for the right of every child to go to school. They educate local leaders and other stakeholders on the importance of education. They also train adolescents on gender-based violence types and causes, their rights, protections, and laws.

  5. Enviromental conservation: Be a Seedling advocates for Environmental conservation use uses training and events to help at least conserve our environments through forest rehabilitation and restoration.

In addition to these five points, Be a Seedling also offers training courses and programs for youths who have discontinued schooling. These courses focus on livelihood skills, environment conservation, and the culture of saving and using livelihoods to generate wealth and income for youths.

Get Involved 

  • Financial assistance: Be a Seedling provides financial assistance to victims of violence, poverty, and other hardships. This can help them pay for food, shelter, clothing, and other necessities.

  • Educational support: Be a Seedling provides educational support to victims of violence, poverty, and other hardships. This can include tutoring, scholarships, and other programs that help them stay in school and reach their full potential.

  • Mentorship: Be a Seedling provides mentorship to victims of violence, poverty, and other hardships. This can help them build positive relationships, develop life skills, and overcome challenges.

Be a Seedling also offers the following opportunities for getting involved:

  • Events: Be a Seedling organizes events throughout the year to raise awareness and promote education for underprivileged individuals. You can sponsor an event or donate to help make it a success.

  • Volunteer opportunities: Be a Seedling is always looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, such as organizing events, fundraising, and providing support to victims.

  • Donate: You can donate money to Be a Seedling to help them continue their important work.

  • Spread the word: You can spread the word about Be a Seedling by sharing their website, social media posts, and other materials.
